Professor in Action

At the UNCW Trask Coliseum pool — teaching adaptive aquatics as part of HFE 415 field practicum.

Movement is the medium. Inclusion is the message.

Adapted Physical Education

Jordan has spent over a decade facilitating inclusive fitness experiences — from university gymnasiums to community pools. His TUFF (Train Us Forward Fitness) nonprofit extends this mission into the broader community.

Fitness & Training

Strength & Performance

Science-backed and performance-focused. Glute training, FRC mobility work, and progressive overload as core pillars — all filmed in the home gym built for it.

FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) principles guide Jordan's movement practice. CARs, PAILs, RAILs, and joint health are non-negotiables — strength without range is incomplete.

Mobility 101 — Teaching Athletes

Jordan has brought Kinstretch and FRC principles to athletic populations — using mobility as a performance multiplier, not just injury prevention.

NPC Men's Physique

Competition On stage Lineup

6× NPC Men's Physique Competitor

Competing in NPC Men's Physique taught Jordan the intersection of science and discipline — periodization, contest prep nutrition, posing practice, and the mental game of peak performance. That same framework now informs how he coaches others.

Structured macros, progressive training blocks, strategic cardio, and peak week protocols refined over multiple prep cycles.

From off-season building to competition day — the process is the product. Discipline compounds.

My Story

ECC Soccer

From the Soccer Pitch to the Lecture Hall

Jordan's journey started on the soccer field at Erie Community College (2002–2004), where he played two years of collegiate soccer while earning his AS in Social Science. He transferred to SUNY Brockport, earning his BS before landing at UNCW — where he's been building ever since.

Over 30 years as a soccer player. Multiple fitness disciplines. A doctoral degree. A nonprofit. A growing brand. The through-line is always the same: movement as medicine, inclusion as purpose.

Education Journey

ECC (2002–04) → SUNY Brockport (BS) → UNCW (Faculty since 2010) → EdD. Now leading Adapted Physical Activity education while conducting peer-reviewed research and running TUFF, a nonprofit expanding fitness access for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
